We offer all dimensions of dressed southern pine lumber, as well as rough sawn pine timbers and beams. We also have a good stock of tongue and groove/ v groove material for interior walls and ceilings. Our facilities include sawmill, planer mill with molder, dry kiln, and treatment services. Most of the pine comes from select harvested forests in Blue Ridge and Elijay which means better quality lumber. We can custom saw your order no matter how big or small. Babb Lumber Company's manufacturing facility is located in Ringgold, GA, just south of Chattanooga, TN The Babb family has been milling lumber in Georgia since 1835. The current Ringgold operations were founded as Babb & Sons Lumber Company in 1953 by Walter Babb and his sons Jack and Herchel. Jack and Herchel expanded the business over the years adding machinery, dry kilns, and pressure treating plants. Both Jack and Herchel were active in the business until their passing. Their hard work and dedication passed on to their ication passed on to their sons Roger, Steve, and David, and grandsons Jason and Andrew, all of whom manage the business. We not only are strictly a local business, we support other local businesses and trades with our money too, using local electricians, machinists and other lumber mills to meet our business needs. We take pride in the fact that all of our rough sawn material, timbers, 5/4 decking, and tongue and groove material is locally sourced.
